Blueberry Crisp with Oatmeal Topping

- 1 quart blueberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- juice and finely grated zest of 1 lemon
- 3 tablespoons flour
Instructions
Mix the berries, sugar, lemon juice and zest, and flour in a large bowl. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and butter a 13×9-inch glass or ceramic baking dish.
Topping

- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup quick cooking oatmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon powdered cinnamon
Instructions
Arrange blueberries in a well-buttered shallow baking dish. Melt the butter and stir in the sugar, oatmeal, flour, and cinnamon until well mixed. Sprinkle over the blueberries. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees F) for 45 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the berries are soft. Serve the crisp warm with a dollop of whipped cream or a side of vanilla ice cream.
